Mannerheim's two-year Asian reconnaissance trip to Central Asia and China. The first volume deals with the trip itself and the material collected during it, the latter volume is compiled on the basis of material collected from the dissertations of several authors. Includes a very rich ethnographic illustration and 14 detailed map appendices describing the itinerary. All in very good condition, even fine, except mainly for some smudges on the covers.
