The Satakunta Museum's collections have included nine late medieval wooden sculptures, most of them images of saints, since 1901. The artist Tiina Lamminen, who has studied and documented the works by painting and drawing, presents her own interpretations of the objects in the exhibition catalogue. The interpretations tie her work to a long tradition of cultural-historical craftsmanship.
