Teemu Mäki is probably Finland´s mos controversial artist. Prize-winning and internationally acclaimed, his works have sparked fierce debate. Some have been censored or banned. This art book consists of picture and texts written into to pictures. With his characteristic philosophical picture writing Mäki aims to show the world and ourselves as we really are. Mäki is relativist, his moral reflections are disconcerting and his socialist criticism of sociaty free of illusions. His works contain a grotesque, humorous aesthetic and dissonant imagery expressing a Dionysian and amoral ethos that disregards the laws of harmony.
