Anne Hämäläinen (b. 1966) lives and works in Helsinki, She has studied at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. worked as a press photographer, and participated in joint exhibitions since 1992. Romance is based on a project of many years, various versions of which have been exhibited in Russia and Finland since 2001.
Artemi Troitsky (b. 1955) has been a prominent and controversial figure in Russian cultural life since the late 1970's. In the West he is best known for his pioneering book Back In the USSR - The True Story of Rock In Russia (Omnibus Press, London, 1987) and his cultural and political newspaper columns (anthologized in Kiinnostavia aikoja, Like, Helsinki, 2000).
